Practice Philosophy

"I feel privileged to be an Endocrinologist in my own practice.  Each professional experience over my career gave me the necessary tools to help me curate the kind of personalized clinical care I've always imagined for my patients.  Starting my own practice in 2016 has been the most rewarding part of my career so far. It's come with its own challenges as any small business does.  It's not uncommon for my patients to see me working the front desk to rooming them to checking them out.  I am appreciative of the patients who have so generously followed me to my various practices over the last 14 years.

I manage most general endocrinology issues.  I love managing diabetes. The technological advances combined with lifestyle changes and new medications has made diabetes much more manageable condition.  I believe all patients can attain optimal control with the right direction but it's a two way street.  I need you to be invested in the outcomes as much as I am.

I also have additional training in thyroid ultrasounds. I am able to perform the ultrasound during the visit as well as biopsy thyroid nodules if needed. This allows for a comprehensive exam and discussion in one visit.

I've also been challenged with the increasing online medical misinformation, the multiple clinics who claim to be hormone experts misdiagnosing and mistreating patients for large sums of money.  While there is always room for traditional and integrative medicine to work synergistically, there is no room for frankly unvalidated treatment.  With this misinformation came patients who were unhappy with my practice style.  I thought it was only fair that I am upfront on my traditional practice style so that there are no surprises for either the patient or me. This has helped me further create a practice that aligns me with my patients.
